Book Stall
A book store / sales section disseminates the message of the holy trinity through display and sale of Ramakrishna-Vivekananda literature.

Printing Press
A modern computerised printing press takes care almost fully of the printing needs of the Vidyalaya. Application forms, prospectus, vouchers, receipt books, journals, reports, invitations, college and school magazines, souvenirs, and several of the publications of the Vidyalaya are printed here.

Charitable Dispensary
The Charitable Dispensary of the Vidyalaya caters to a population of around 8000 students and 800 staff members and their families besides a large number of underprivileged people residing in the surrounding areas. In addition to regular general consultation, the dispensary also offers consultation by specialists in the areas pf orthopaedics, neurology, pediatrics, cardiology, gynaecology, diabetes, skin, asthma, dental, eye, ENT, general surgery, etc. On an average, around 150 patients visit the dispensary for consultation every day. As part of the medical services, many free medical camps are held for the benefit of the underprivileged.

Computer Hardware Department
The department with two engineers and one assistant engineer, located at the Polytechnic campus, takes care of the maintenance and repairs of all computers, printers, scanners, etc. in the various institutions of the Vidyalaya.

Maintenance and Repairs Department
This takes care of practically all the repairs and renovations in the Vidyalaya, including construction of new buildings, etc.

Swami Vivekananda and Ramayana Park
Swami Vivekananda said that the backbone of India is religion. Most Indians imbibe this spirit of religion and the values contained in them through the medium of our great epics. By way of play gadgets personifying characters that remind us of our great tradition abd values, the Ramayana Park which is located close to the Swami Vivekananda Park, continues to draw scores of visitors including the residents of the neighbourhood and the people travelling on the Coimbatore-Ooty highway. It is our hope that Park continues to serve as a means of healthy and enlightening entertainment to the children.

Farm and Orchards
Innovative and experimental farming and horticulture are carried on with used water from the hostels and kitchens, harvested rainwater, drip irrigation, and recycling process.

Dairy and Goatery
About 30 milch animals are maintained to serve four purposes:

  1. hands-on training to our students of the Institute of Agriculture and Rural Development.
  2. milk supply to our hostels to meet a part of their total requirement.
  3. demonstrating to villagers on how to maintain a good low-cost dairy unit in rural areas.
  4. creating manure for our farms.

The State Bank of India and the Post Office
A branch of the State Bank of India and a Post Office situated in the campus meet the needs of the students, staff and the management.

Disabled Trainees Vocational Production and Rehabilitation Center
The section, which has been in operation since 1992, employs 6 economically backward and 18 physically challenged staff members. Besides catering to the needs of notebooks for our various institutions within the campus, the section takes orders on a selective basis from other institutions also with the primary objective of providing employment to the economically backward and the physically challenged persons. Notebooks are priced at bare minimum charges.
