Rules and Regulations

The Department of Computer Studies (Computer Science, Computer Applications and Information Technology), Un-aided wing of our College organized an intercollegiate meet on 17.03.2023. Dr. K. Kandappan, Dean, Students Support Services, welcomed the gathering. Swami Anapekshananda, In-charge of unaided wing, delivered the presidential address. Followed by the keynote address was delivered by Mr. Debiprosad Chakraborty, Director and Ms. Vishnupriya Vishnuprasad, Senior Associate Channel Programs, Wadhwani Foundation, New Delhi. In their speech, they insisted the importance of Communication skills and essential of self-learning for the students’ career achievements. The inaugural session was concluded with the Vote of thanks delivered by Dr. R. Sridhar, Director, Un-aided Wing.

Various events namely, Project Expo, Comp-U-Verbatim (Word Hunt), Quiz Buzz (Quiz), Untangle (Debugging), were organized by the Department of Computer Studies. Swami Nirmaleshananda, Secretary of the College and Swami Anapekshananda distributed the certificates and cash prizes to the winners respectively. The students of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, Nava India, Coimbatore has won the overall championship of this Intercollegiate Meet. Finally, Dr. C. R. Sakthivel, Head, Department of Computer Science (Un-aided wing) delivered the Vote of thanks. Totally 228 participants from 23 colleges have participated and got benefited.

Inter College Meet Department of Mathematics “SOLSTICE-23”

The Department of Mathematics of our College organized A One – Day workshop on Innovations in Learning of Mathematics – “SOLSTICE-23” on 09.03.2023 at G.K.D. Auditorium. Dr. R. Thangavel, Principal, welcomed the gathering. Swami Nirmaleshananda, Secretary, delivered the Benedictory Address and inaugurates the workshop. Dr. K. Balachandran, UGC- BSR Fellow, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore delivered the Special Address on the occasion. Dr. T. Jayakumar, Associate Professor of Mathematics, explain the objectives of the workshop. Inaugural function was concluded with formal vote of thanks by Dr. K. Sathiyanathan, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics.

Paper presentation, Quibble (Quiz), Math Modeling, Scribble (Math Sketching), Brain Teaser, Math Rangoli, Math Act (Lot Box), Minute to Win It, were the events conducted by the Department of Mathematics. Dr. K. Sathiyanathan, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics, delivered the Welcome Address in the Valedictory Function. Swami Nirmaleshananda, Secretary, distributed the Prizes and Certificates to the winners. The overall championship was won by Thirupur Kumaran College for Women, Thirupur. Finally Dr. T. Jayakumar, Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Workshop delivered the Vote of thanks. Totally 163 students from 17 Colleges of various districts of Tamilnadu participated in this programme and got benefitted.

MCA – TEXCPLO’22 Event

Final year MCA students organized TECXPLO’22 on 16.10.2022 for I MCA students of their own department in order to develop interpersonal skills, social skills, communication skills, attitudes and career attributes by conducting the Project Presentation, Experiential Learning, Connection, Poster Design, Animation & Editing, Hardware Assemble, Debate, Quiz, Debugging and Common Difference, it was coordinated by Dr. M. Chandran, Associate Professor of MCA.
