Sundervan

We have established our own garden by name “Sundar Van”, opposite to our institution in an area of 25,000 square feet with more than 300 sapling of various varieties like Neem, Sappota, Goose Berry, Guava, Mango, Custard apple and many jungle varieties.
Our Cadets are pleased to devote blood to save the life of deceased whenever there is a need by anybody from society.
Whenever our local police approach us for traffic control in and around Periyanickenpalayam, we send our cadets.
Our Cadets come voluntarily to keep our campus neat and clean. They are involved in pruning the saplings, cutting off unwanted branches of trees, making trenches to collect rain water, removing thons, shrubs, grass etc.
Our cadets take part activity in the celebrations such as Guru Pooja, Independence Day, Republic Day celebrations and any other functions organized by our institution.

Camp Activities

Every year number of our cadets attends various camps organized by 4[TN] Bn NCC, such as Combined Annual Training Camps Coimbatore Group such as Inter group Competition IGC/RDC launch camp such as National Integration Camp, Army Attachment Camp, Rock Climbing Camp, Mountain Trekking Camp etc.

Innovation

Training programs are designed to create confidence among our cadets, while attending the selection test for police, CRPF, CISF, BSF, and RPF and to fulfil our aims of joining in Defence service.

Part IV

To make the training more effective and useful to our cadets we have made this NCC as one of the compulsory optional subjects. Ones a student gets enrolled as a cadet in NCC in his I yr, he has to serve in NCC for two years, i.e. I and II Yr of his degree course. The participation of the cadets in the NCC activities in continuously assessed and marks are awarded in the IV Semester.
