About the Department

The Department of Commerce with Computer Applications was started in the year 2001-2002. In our department we have 10 experienced faculty members to handle the class effectively for the students effectively. The dedicated professors of this department prepare students to pursue their higher studies and get employed in the highly competitive job market. The curriculum is updated according to the changing environment in Industry and Commerce through board of studied with eminent members. In accordance with that, we have introduced a new paper in our syllabi, “Accounting Process in Corporate Sector” which enables the students to get placed in Accounting BPO.

Every year our department is conducting the national level or state level seminar and inter collegiate meet to enable the students to get equipped about the latest changes in the field of commerce and computer applications. Our department prepares the students to inculcate Moral Values in their life.

Objectives:

1. Improving the knowledge of students through conductive class room environment resulting in effective teaching learning process.
2. To Make the Students pursue higher studies and employable in the Job Market through seminars, Intercollegiate meet and Industrial training.
3. To develop moral values among the students
4. Updating the curriculum according to the need of the Industry and Commerce.
